What is Open Source Learning?

Open Source Learning is when we custom-build our own learning experience instead of following a script we got from someone else. We learn to mix and match tools and resources to build and create. We don’t dogmatically follow a curriculum or compel children to study according to prewritten lists. The teacher and learner, parent and child pair become constructors of their journey.

The child is empowered by receiving the choice to decide what they want, and then held to the discipline of using their power responsibly. Through crafting their learning experiences, children can learn to craft their whole life.
